Multinational food delivery service Deliveroo has launched its all-you-can-deliver plan in Australia for $18.99 a month.
The sign-up page for the plan, called Deliveroo Plus, started appearing on selected Sydney users’ mobile apps over the last week.
The subscription offers a 14-day free trial that then charges $18.99 per month after that. Deliveroo Plus also promises “exclusive offers from selected restaurants”.
“You can place as many orders as you like and you’ll always get free delivery. However, it’s intended for use by individuals,” says the company website.
The current per-order delivery fee is about $5, although it can vary up or down according to the distance of the restaurant to the destination. This means regular Deliveroo users could break even after ordering three or four meals during the month.
