The restaurant leading a proposed class action over claims that Grubhub Inc. sets up “shadow websites” to compete with its clients sought permission to immediately appeal a Philadelphia federal judge’s ruling sending the case to arbitration.
“Grubhub’s liability is clear,” the Jan. 8 motion says.
The lawsuit accuses the company of setting up websites that appear to be run by the restaurants featured on its delivery platform.
