San Francisco-based online staffing firm TaskRabbit Inc. named former UberEats and Airbnb exec Ania Smith as its next CEO, effective Aug. 24. She replaces Stacy Brown-Philpot, who plans to leave the company Aug. 31.

Smith most recently was head of courier operations at UberEats, where she led the growth of UberEats supply in the US and Canada; prior to UberEats, she held various leadership positions at Airbnb in operations and growth capacities. Earlier in her career, Smith helped grow Walmart eCommerce and Expedia, where she held a variety of leadership positions in strategy, operations and business development.
