ChowNow and delivery.com, online food ordering systems that aim to help independent restaurants across the U.S. grow, are partnering with Google to expand their businesses. Partnering with Google allows customers to order through Google Search, Google Maps and Google Assistant.
With this food delivery partnership, Google users can search for restaurants and place orders with more than 12,000 local delivery.com partners and 11,000 local ChowNow partners.
While there are many food delivery apps in the market, plenty of consumers still turn to traditional search methods to find meals and satisfy cravings, Marketing Divereported.
And with half of diners ordering food for delivery once a month or more, it’s crucial for restaurants to have prominent presences in search results, even if they already have their own food delivery apps.
