NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Olo, the leading online food ordering solution for the restaurant industry, announced today that the company is engaging with EatStreet to enable integrated delivery through Olo’s Rails platform. EatStreet is one of the largest independent online and mobile food ordering services in the U.S., serving 250 markets and connecting consumers to more than 15,000 restaurants. The partnership will provide consumers and restaurant partners with a more convenient, streamlined food delivery experience for smaller markets across the country.
EatStreet has integrated into Olo’s application programming interface (API) called Rails, which enables restaurants to efficiently receive, process and execute delivery orders through delivery service providers. Rails eliminates the need for extensive and disparate delivery management in individual restaurant locations by allowing restaurant operators to list menu items on third-party marketplaces, ultimately reaching more consumers. Additionally, orders placed on EatStreet are integrated into the restaurant’s POS and other existing systems through Olo Rails, decreasing time spent on logistics and increasing order
