The latest Triangle hack didn’t happen in a Target (NYSE: TGT) or at a Home Depot (NYSE: HD).
It happened at a small restaurant delivery service in Chapel Hill.
It may sound cliche, but Wes Garrison, co-founder of food delivery outfit Takeout Central, previously known as Tarheel Takeout, never expected to be a victim. He expected to keep growing his business. What started as a service for UNC students in 1996 has steadily grown. The company now has locations in Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Durham and Fuquay-Varina. It’s a combination of GrubHub and Uber, according to its website. And it is rebranding to from Tarheel Takeout to Takeout Central.
